The brief

A bare container is just a box. Add our steel industrial rivet shelving and it becomes a working storeroom: sized to the container footprint, five tiers high, and supplied to suit how you want to fit it.

Flat-pack for self-assembly when you already have a container, or pre-installed in our containers before delivery. Either way, ready to load on arrival.

Fitted inside a container.

Two shelf footprints: Type 1 at 1500 × 400mm for boxed stock and spares along the wall, Type 2 at 1220 × 610mm for deeper, bulkier items. Both build five tiers high and both fit a 20ft or a 40ft container.

Quick answers.

Procurement teams, facilities managers and container owners ask us these most.

Do you fit the shelving inside the container for me?

Yes. Order shelving with a container and we’ll install it in West Cork before delivery. It arrives ready to load. If you already have a container, we can supply flat-pack for self-assembly, everything bolts together without welding or specialist tools.

What loads can the shelves take?

Our standard rivet shelving is rated for industrial use. Each shelf tier handles significant uniform load: suitable for boxed goods, tools, parts, and palletised items. Contact us if you need to discuss specific load requirements.

What sizes are available?

We stock two shelf footprints: Type 1 at 1500 × 400mm and Type 2 at 1220 × 610mm. Both build five tiers high at 1800mm, and both fit a 20ft or 40ft container with a clear central aisle. Type 1 keeps the widest aisle; Type 2 takes deeper, bulkier items.

Can I move or reconfigure the shelving later?

Yes. Rivet shelving is fully demountable. No welding, no permanent fixings. Tiers adjust in height, and the whole unit can be disassembled and rebuilt if you need to reconfigure your container layout.

Do you hire shelving as well as sell it?

Shelving is available for sale only. It’s priced to own and pairs naturally with our container hire offering: hire the container, buy the shelving, and you have a fully equipped storeroom from day one.

Do you deliver across Ireland?

Yes. Every Hayes Cabin Services unit is delivered nationwide from our base in West Cork. The truck-mounted cranes in our fleet lift the unit off the truck and position it exactly where you need it on-site, so no separate crane is required. RAMS and a lift plan produced by our appointed person are issued in advance for every delivery as standard, and all lifting equipment is GA1 certified.

How quickly can you deliver?

Most deliveries are scheduled within 48 to 72 hours of order confirmation, subject to stock and route. For specialist modifications or bespoke builds the lead time is longer. We’ll confirm a firm date in writing before invoice.
