Each unit has a heavy steel perimeter base, integrated jacklegs, and steel floor joists for structural strength well beyond a standard cabin, finished with high zinc phosphate for corrosion resistance. Heavy steel security doors and window shutters protect against theft and unauthorised access. Available as offices, canteens, drying rooms, meeting rooms, security units, and split configurations, for hire or sale, delivered nationwide by our truck-mounted crane fleet from our base in West Cork.

A welded steel base under an insulated plywood deck.
A fully welded base frame of rolled steel channel and Z-section runners, with profiled galvanised steel joists at 400mm centres. Insulated between the joists as standard under a 25mm plywood deck, finished in safety flooring throughout.
Block-pressed steel, insulated and double-lined.
Walls are 2mm block-pressed mild steel on 3mm pre-galvanised corner posts, fully welded and painted with a high-zinc-phosphate container coating. Inside, high-density insulation behind white vinyl-faced plasterboard with a half-hour fire rating.
Pressed steel over timber supports that never sag.
A flat 2mm block-pressed steel roof panel with top lifting points, over a polythene vapour barrier and high-density insulation. 75 × 50mm timbers at 600mm centres support the roof and eliminate any future sag.
Insurance-rated door. Shuttered and grilled windows.
An insurance-rated Kirncroft galvanised steel security door with a ten-point locking system. PVC tilt-and-turn windows behind hinged steel shutters, with security grilles on high-level windows.
Finished in PVC, wired to a metal-clad consumer unit.
All internal trim, jointing strips and angles are PVC. A 32A inlet feeds a metal-clad RCD consumer unit, wired to the relevant trips, with a Lot 20 compliant panel heater.
What you need to know.
What’s the difference between antivandal and jackleg construction?
Antivandal cabins use heavy steel security construction throughout: fully welded steel walls, doors, and shutters, designed to resist forced entry and impact. They also include an external electrical connection point as standard so the unit can be powered up before final fit-out. Jackleg cabins are lighter steel-framed builds, appropriate where extended security construction isn’t required.
Does the heavy steel construction affect the comfort inside?
No, antivandal units are fully insulated and lined with 12.5mm plasterboard, then fitted with LOT 20 compliant panel heaters and internal lighting. Inside, they feel the same as a jackleg cabin; the difference is in the shell.
Can antivandal cabins be linked to form larger setups?
Yes: antivandal cabins can be positioned and linked the same way as jackleg, end-to-end or side-by-side, to create larger offices, canteens, or site facilities blocks. We’ll plan door positions and external electrical connection points in advance.
What’s antivandal best suited for?
Antivandal is the right choice anywhere extended steel construction is preferred over standard jackleg: typically when the unit will be on-site for an extended period, when it needs to be left unattended outside working hours, or when client procurement specifies it as standard. Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and engineering clients often spec antivandal as default for this reason.
Do you deliver across Ireland?
Yes. Every Hayes Cabin Services unit is delivered nationwide from our base in West Cork. The truck-mounted cranes in our fleet lift the unit off the truck and position it exactly where you need it on-site, so no separate crane is required. RAMS and a lift plan produced by our appointed person are issued in advance for every delivery as standard, and all lifting equipment is GA1 certified.
How quickly can you deliver?
Most deliveries are scheduled within 48 to 72 hours of order confirmation, subject to stock and route. For specialist modifications or bespoke builds the lead time is longer. We’ll confirm a firm date in writing before invoice.
